CGE is an emerging energy company that plans to convert deep coal seams into Syngas using a process known as Underground Coal Gasification (UCG). The resulting Syngas is typically used in Power Generation and the production of ultra clean fuels.  CGE plans to be a significant supplier of Syngas to power generators and other users both here in Australia and elsewhere overseas.

I have just recently returned from Beijing, China where we successfully negotiated and signed-off on an important Joint Venture with our Chinese partners who have substantial deep coal assets and plan to develop a commercial UCG project in Inner Mongolia. I am also pleased to advise that CGE successfully listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) on the 28th October 2009 as a result of a reverse merger with International Resource Holdings Limited (IRH).
